Neil B. Sample, O.D., a native of Honaker, Virginia, is a 2009 graduate of the University of Missouri with a Doctorate in Optometry. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Emory & Henry College in 2005.
His training in Optometry included externships at the Optometric Center of St. Louis, Missouri; University Eye Center; Scott Air Force Base; and Washington University Eye Center. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry.
Outside of work, Dr. Sample is an avid runner and participates in marathons around our region. He has a special interest in hard-to-fit and medically necessary contact lenses and fits a wide variety of lenses from soft to scleral RGP (Rigid Gas Permeable) contact lenses.
