About William F. Prestowitz, M.D.

Dr. Prestowitz has been in the practice of Ophthalmology since 1983. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware in 1977 and graduated from George Washington University with a degree in Medicine in 1981.
He completed his surgical internship at Tripler Army Medical Center and his residency in Ophthalmology at Brooke Army Medical Center in 1986. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Specialization

Dr. Prestowitz is on staff at Johnston Memorial Hospital and Smyth County Community Hospital. He sees patients in our Abingdon office, and he specializes in Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Cataract Surgery.
